Hata3 went for a drive today to Yokohama to watch "Yokohama photo festival" held in "Yokohama red brick warehouse" (above photo). Yokohama photo festival is an event of the photographs which began at this year. I heard that there were various programs such as talk show of a famous photographer including Mr. Eiko Hosoe and the photo exhibition, the slide show, a workshop in this event.

I was most interested in an event called "the portfolio review" in these photo events. The portfolio review is an event which professional reviewers (curator of the art museum, owner of the gallery, editor of the publishing company etc.) evaluate the works of the eggs of a young photographer who wants to become a professional. It is a kind of the business matching for a photographer.

Because such an event was not held in Japan very much, I was interested. This photograph is a state of the venue of "Yokohama Open Portfolio Review."

Hata3 and my partner went for a fireworks show of Chofu city yesterday. This event is held every year in the riverbed of the Tamagawa River. Hata3 and my partner go for this fireworks show every year.

The fireworks show is a sort of poetic charm to the Japanese summer season, and is held in each places of the all over Japan from July to August.

Flowers of the lights opens in the night sky. It seems to be totally an abstraction picture made of the lights.

I challenged the photography of fireworks for the first time yesterday. I uploaded a lot of fireworks photographs to my Photo Blog, "Hata3's Digital Eye".

The digital camera which Hata3 bought for the first time is "Canon IXY DIGITAL 320" of the photograph. Because I bought this camera in 2003, it is already before six years. That time passes is somewhat felt to me early. Now I use a single-lens reflex camera and the other compact cameras and enjoy photographs.

I began new photo blog to introduce the photographs which I took for these six years and photographs to take from now on.The name is "Hata3's Digital Eye". So many photographs are not yet uploaded in this new blog. But, I'm going to upload my photographs slowly. If you have free time, please look.

On the end of last week, Hata3 and my partner went for a drive to Shousenkyo of Yamanashi prefecture. This is a photograph of the states of a river flowing through Shousenkyo.

The river passes through big rocks and stones rolling rumblingly and drifts. I tried that I photographed dynamism of the streamflow by an exposure for a long time.

The Yebisu Garden Place is a commercial facility near Yebisu Station of Yamanote-line, Tokyo. In the site, there are many facility other than Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.

I like this museum, and I sometimes go there.
